How to Use Microgreens in Everyday Meals

You do not need a recipe. Simple, everyday ways to bring fresh microgreens into meals you already make.

Add them at the end

Microgreens are delicate, so add them raw and right before serving. Cooking wilts them and dulls both their flavour and their nutrients.

Everyday ideas

Pile them on toast and avocado, fold them into an omelette or scrambled eggs, float them on a bowl of soup, layer them into sandwiches and wraps, or finish a pizza right after it comes out of the oven.

Salads, bowls and garnishes

Use them as the base or the finishing touch of a salad, or scatter them over grain and rice bowls for freshness and crunch. Peppery shoots like radish make a striking garnish for meat, fish and mezze.

Match the green to the dish

Sweet and nutty shoots like pea and sunflower suit breakfasts and smoothies; spicy and citrusy ones cut through rich dishes. Half the fun is experimenting to find your favourites.
